10% of Bernardo Urbina Designs profits goes back to the local person sourcing the material.
Each collection piece is handmade from upcycled organic materials, and it carries the name of the person sourcing the wood. Typhoon Haiyan left Serio's boat in useless pieces. We gave the “punta” a new life in the shape of a corner Lamp. The wooden piece acts as the base, creating movement within the item as the eye reads it.
This minimalist light expresses a statement of hope and also compliments your room with a conversation piece to share with your loved ones. This floor lamp has a modern and simplistic design that complements any environment.
The brainchild of Bernardo Urbina, the company's ethos is that the design aspect of a furniture or product must go hand-in-hand with the social aspect. They believe we all have a responsibility to help the society we live in. With this vision Bernardo Urbina is dedicated to create furniture out of waste materials such as debris left by a natural disasters or drift wood found around the outskirts of a city. The brand upcycles raw material and gives it new value in the shape of sculptural furniture.
