The light interacts with this industrial chandelier and the setting to produce amazing artistic patterns on the ceiling, walls and even on the floor. The chandelier is made of 2 cascading rings. The chains have no finish, each chain is degreased thoroughly by hand and left in its original state. Perfect for any design-conscious commercial or residential setting.
Industrial designer Laurence van Seventer set up Lolo Palazzo in 2011, following a long-standing desire to design and create industrial lighting and objects through welding in combination with recycled steel. Working in her Hague-based studio, Laurence crafts 100% handmade chandeliers, lamps and objects from recycled steel, such as bicycle chains, motor parts, perforated metal sheets, etc. Laurence finds her precious materials trawling through car demolition sites, metal factories, bicycle repair shops and storages throughout the Netherlands.
Recently the brand designed a new lampshade collection called "Killing me Softly" (soon available on our e-Boutique), a combination of recycled steel and recycled leather. You won't be surprised to know that part of the leather used for this project comes from reclaimed chairs discarded by the Schiphol Airport.
