Carapace is Fabio, Alessandro and Paolo, three Italian brothers who wanted to develop a concept based on a family memory: their woodworking father.
The idea of combining the simplicity and strength of iron with the natural elegance of wood – mainly reclaimed, reused wood – sprang from a creative process based on fundamental forms, environmental sustainability and a reinterpretation of the traditional craft styles of north-eastern Italy, where Carapace was born.
The brand designs and builds their products exclusively to order. Each piece is numbered and signed by Carapace © in Italy and comes with its own certificate of authenticity.
Inspired by natural raw materials such as cork and innovative manufacturing processes, this Spanish industrial designer is driven by the observation of usability and the identification of the user's needs.
From low-waste 3D modeling and CNC production techniques, to FSC certified wood, to recycled marble and ceramic dust, Carlos Ortega uses a combination of new technologies and traditional craftsmanship to creatively and sustainably design great classic furniture that will last a lifetime.

INDI is a Lithuanian based creative studio which designs original lighting and home objects. INDI is not the kind of brand that works only for the result, they consider creativity as a permanent process similar to the always changing home environment. The individuality of Lithuanian design, Baltic spirit and Nordic minimalism inspire INDI to create distinctive lifestyle aesthetics full of light and witty ideas. Light is a necessary element for well-being, inner harmony and coziness. During the cold season in Lithuania days become very short, they experience the lack of sun and natural light. That’s why the significance of home light sources becomes very important. The simplicity, natural elements and tranquility is common to INDI. Their goal is to create things that will be not only esthetic, environment friendly, but also have its original implication and excite the imagination.
Green Design Gallery introduces klaylife – clay beaded lighting, proudly hand crafted by the women of South Africa....and so much more!
Unlike so many products that come off the factory line, ours have a human story. They’re lovingly created by a community of women in Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa.
Drawing on African heritage and craftsmanship, each clay bead is hand rolled using raw clay. They are then sun dried, kiln fired and dip-dyed and in the case of our lights, masterfully strung onto its unique iron frame. This hand made process ensures that no two pieces will ever be the same.
Today our chandeliers can be found lighting up some of the most gorgeous homes, hotels, restaurants and reception centres around the world.
klaylife is run by a South African family now based in Melbourne, Australia.
Modify has carefully chosen each component of their products with design, function and sustainability in mind.

This clever brand not only sources its aluminum from a local vendor that uses 30% recycled content - its accessory line is also cleverly designed to use the left-over pieces of bamboo that would otherwise be scrap, so Modify's waste rate is under 5%.
Rotsen creates furniture that will stand the test of time and fleeting fashion - strikingly modern designs that take their unrivaled beauty from the creative combination of contrasting materials.
This is furniture to cherish for a lifetime and pass on to future generations. In a world with finite resources choosing even a single piece of high-quality furniture offers an alternative to buying and replacing a succession of mass-produced pieces destined for the landfill.
Rotsen works with wood from decaying bridges, old barns and demolished structures, harvested from fallen, well preserved trees, or from sustainable plantations and well managed forests to create furniture that is luxurious, distinct and unforgettable.
