KATAATU SIDE TABLE + STOOL | TRUFFLE

$795.00

Reminiscent of exotic travels and inspired by nature, the Kataatu Side Table / Stool features traditional Indonesian talent and soft earthy tones

The Kataatu Stool is hand-carved from munggur wood into a structured statement piece suitable for any indoor space. Featuring a flat top and carved sides with a highly sanded finish, this stool is a beautiful yet functional design piece.

This piece is finished in our exclusive Truffle tone – a bespoke blend of chocolate hues and Japanese black, allowing the raw timber grain to remain beautifully visible. The result is a rich, tactile surface with depth and warmth

Handcrafted from the trunk of a munggur tree, the Kataatu is unique in design, assuring no two pieces are alike!

SPECS

  • DIA 36cm | H 45cm

  • Our exclusive Truffle finish is applied to solid munggur wood, a natural material that may develop subtle movement over time. If cracks appear, the lighter natural tone of the timber may become visible through the Truffle stain. This is a characteristic of solid wood and not considered a fault. These areas can be easily blended using a small amount of stain.

      DISCLAIMER

Our range is largely individually, hand-made pieces. As the majority of our products are made from natural materials, elements such as texture, colour and pattern may vary piece to piece.

Reclaimed timbers, naturally weathered materials and off-cuts otherwise discarded are frequently part of our design features. Over time, natural splitting, cracking and loss of natural oils may occur and form part of the characteristics and beauty of our products. These are not viewed as imperfections or faults, rather part of the natural life and beauty of timber.

We believe the use of natural materials and hand-crafted elements result in a testament to the unique qualities found in materials originating from nature.

As every monitor displays different color tones, the color of pictures on our website and social media cannot be taken as a true color indication of the actual products. Some product's tones may appear to vary from catalogue or website images.
