Staygreen products are created using kraft paper. It is a paper-based material consisting of a fluted corrugated sheet and double-wave liner boards that bind together with the use of natural glue adhesives. Each sheet is created by inserting a percentage of wood fiber and a percentage of recycled paper in a way to create a resistant product. There has been extensive testing done to ensure the weight bearing capacities.
Besides being 100% recyclable and biodegradable, all of Staygreen’s products are the result of impeccable craftsmanship, applied to every stage of the production process, from the processing of raw materials to the finishes, which are handmade.
A new concept in sustainable design, Staygreen modern furnishings are the result of careful research into the principles of sustainable design. Staygreen furniture and lighting are created from ecologically sourced materials—specifically, double corrugated cardboard and natural glues made from pea starch—and feature unique, refined shapes that convey the essence of the material. Staygreen proposes a new way of experiencing design that promotes environmental awareness without compromising beauty.

KRAFT PAPER
Kraft paper is a 100% biodegradable natural product. The pulp is made from long virgin fibres of maritime pine and is not bleached, to ensure minimum chemical processing and to retain the wood's natural colour. Kraft paper biodegrades entirely naturally. Just like the leaves from the trees, kraft paper decomposes naturally within a few weeks, returning to its initial form of cellulose fibres, which can be fully assimilated back into its original natural environment, with no adverse impact on nature or human health. The production of kraft paper is an entirely closed-cycle process. All materials resulting from the process are recovered and recycled, and waste is used as a source of energy. This entirely closed-cycle system has major benefits, both environmental and economic.
